Installations and Events
The In Sisterhood multimedia exhibit will be installed at Winchester Thurston Upper School, Pittsburgh, PA (directions), March 1 - 13, 2010 and the Martha Gault Art Gallery, Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA (directions), March 15 - April 3, 2010.

 
Past installations:

Carlow University's Art Gallery in Frances Warde Hall, October 12-21, 2009. An opening reception took place on Tuesday, October 13 and a panel discussion, followed by a docent tour, took place on Wednesday October 21.

Chatham University, Buhl Science Center's Kresge Atrium and Lounge, March 2-6, 2009, Hours M-F, 11AM-1PM and 4PM-6PM. The installation featured 16 portraits, a 15-minute video using excerpts from the oral histories and period photos.

The University of Pittsburgh, The Conney M. Kimbo Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA. February 16-27,2009. This installation featured 16 portraits and a 15-minute video using excerpts from the oral histories, period photos and memorabilia of historical significance.

Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Pittsburgh, PA. January 9-25, 2009. This installation featured 16 portraits and a 15-minute video using excerpts from the oral histories, period photos and memorabilia of historical significance. Patricia Ulbrich, Ph.D., Project Director, provided an introduction to the exhibit and led a gallery tour that was open to the public.

Seton Hill University, Harlan Gallery, Greensburg, PA. November 6-24, 2008. This installation featured 15 portraits and a 20-minute video using excerpts from the oral histories.

The David H. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, PA. October 2, 2008. The premier of the exhibit with 15 portraits and an 8-minute video using archival footage, period photos and excerpts from the oral histories was installed on the Visitors Corridor during the Governor's Conference for Women where 4400 people from across the state had an opportunity to view the exhibit.

Past events:

In Sisterhood's second annual "Celebration of Women’s Equality Day" took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, 5:30 - 8:00 PM at The Twentieth Century Club, 4201 Bigelow Boulevard in Oakland. The event was sponsored by Akoya.

Preview event with distinguished guest Eleanor Smeal, Pittsburgh, PA. September 28, 2008. Exclusive preview of 15 portraits and an 8-minute video using archival footage, period photos and excerpts from oral histories in the Atrium and a talk "Pittsburgh Feminists Rocked the Nation" by Eleanor Smeal in Levi Hall at Rodef Shalom Temple. Feminist Reunion, First Unitarian Church, Pittsburgh, PA, August 24, 2008. This celebration of Women's Equality Day and Phyllis Wetherby's 80th birthday included a slide show featuring portraits of the participants and production shots as well as short presentations by three activists who participated in the oral history project.
