We held a reception and private viewing of our BridgeBuilders multimedia exhibit on April 12, 2012 in the PNC Foundation Donor Lounge and Second Floor Gallery of the August Wilson Center for African American Culture in Pittsburgh, PA, with featured speaker Marcia Ann Gillespie, a leader in the women’s movement.

Pittsburgh Feminists Rocked the Nation

We hosted a special event on September 28, 2008 at Rodef Shalom Temple in Pittsburgh, PA featuring an exclusive preview of 15 portraits and an 8-minute video using archival footage, period photos and excerpts from oral histories in the Atrium, and a talk entitled “Pittsburgh Feminists Rocked the Nation” by distinguished guest Eleanor Smeal in Levi Hall.

Feminist Reunion

We hosted a Feminist Reunion at First Unitarian Church in Pittsburgh, PA, on August 24, 2008. This celebration of Women’s Equality Day and Phyllis Wetherby’s 80th birthday included a slide show featuring portraits of the participants and production shots as well as short presentations by three activists who participated in the oral history project.
